Scavengers of Ascalon Axe, and Ascalon Maul.

Both could have two suffixes. Were removed.

Yep, get in early in MMO's is a mantra you'll here repeated often. However, there's good news for you: Cantha is probably full of nifty little items with unintended uses/consequences.

You have been warned!

Aren't there still AP staves from presearing/post ascalon that are rather useless, since they require 3 smiting and do 4-7 damage? Makes you wonder what Anet was thinking.

Yep - it's more of a "collectors" item than anything.

I thought the 15% FFS got changed to a 10%, so no more 15% exist, in the same way the SoA axes got changed.
Is there still 15% ones around?

There were also +5 energy hammers a long time ago; I have screenshots somewhere but don't remember where they were from, I got those hammers the first week I played.
I have a +5 energy bow and I think I got it from Piken Square. I will go back and check it when I get home. Pitty it's customized to my Necro/Ranger... heh, that bow is REALLY old, and my Necro was my first char and I probably customized most things he used in my first couple of months playing.

Nope, unlike the SoA axes... the 15% FFS weren't completely removed... along with the HoD swords.

True. Very few people had them though, therefore most people believe there are none. But I have seen at least 2-3 in-game since the change. ANet won't really *change* the item, just destroy the source. Only time they remove is like an exploit or glitch (SoA axe comes to mind... ).
